Our Mission: The National Literacy Coalition (NLC) exists to step directly into the nation’s literacy gap. We serve as the fiscal, administrative, and legal catalyst that equips schools, community centers, and educators with the funding, clinical partnerships, and transparent infrastructure needed to unlock every child’s literacy future.

Yet, they are far too often forced to respond without the specialized clinical tools, high-dosage intervention frameworks, or sustainable funding required to solve severe reading deficits.
We recognized a fundamental reality: schools and educators cannot fill this gap alone. No single school district, single non-profit, or isolated grant program can dismantle a generational reading crisis. Fixing it requires an ecosystem—a true coalition of aligned partners working in unison.

Governed and managed by the National Literacy Coalition, this fund serves as the permanent, transparent repository for corporate allocations, campaign contributions, and foundation capital.
Geographic Capital Lock: Every dollar directed to the fund can be legally restricted to the specific city, county, or zip code designated by the donor or corporate partner.
Direct Pass-Through Efficiency: The fund guarantees zero administrative bleed, ensuring that contributions directly subsidize diagnostic assessments, multi-sensory instructional kits, and high-dosage clinical intervention for vulnerable families.
Long-Term Community Protection: Rather than offering temporary relief, the fund builds self-sustaining local capacity so communities can protect their own neighborhoods for years to come.
